Salon Manager
Butchers is expanding and we are looking for an experienced salon manager: A Leader with a passion for upholding a high level of customer care, nurturing a team of highly skilled and developing creatives. We need a critical thinker with the experience required to balance and oversee the following: admin, customer service, day to day running of a salon floor, one to one people management and development.

Salon Assistant
Our assistant’s are instrumental in creating the best environment for our guests: this includes welcoming clients in to the salon, performing the Aveda stress-relieving rituals (head massages, chakra rituals and hand massages), washing clients hair, cleaning tasks, making drinks and supporting the full team.

John has been in the industry for seven years. A super skilled stylist, he loves the collaboration between stylist and client and values the relationships he builds with his guests.
A purveyor of the perfectly imperfect, John is inspired by photographers such as Nan Goldin, and women like Stevie Nicks. A stickler for detail, he can also be found as a freelance stylist for the likes of Dazed Beauty and Beauty Papers, or assisting other senior stylists in the industry.
A visual creative, John is obsessed with music, film and art – past and present – and draws a lot of inspiration for his work from this.

Simon “hurrrland” Schuetz hails from Munich, and just like the land of “Vorsprung durch Technik”, he likes to bring a masterful level of precision to his work. As a champion of both cut and colour, he’s won over clients from across the globe with his attention to detail and delightful straightforwardness. He’ll always go the extra mile to make clients relaxed and happy, ensuring they leave with flawless hair. When he isn’t creating magic at Butchers, he continues to hone his creative spirit through designing Avant Garde fashion, as well as making accessories and statement pieces for just about everyone. What Susannah and Katie Say… Efficiency, knowledge and exactly the hair you want. Simon doesn’t beat around the bush and will tell you exactly how to get it.

Having been working his magic in hair for over a decade and at Butchers since the beginning, Jue Jue loves the subtleties of both colour and cut – a hidden flash panel of colour popping through, or super sexy sunkissed highlights, to create an even fancier version of oneself. His forte is creating texture without changing the actual structure of the hair. At Butchers, his focus has definitely shifted towards dramatic colour changes and corrections which he feels are just as fun and even more rewarding once clients see the final result. In his spare time, Jue Jue has a great interest in art and culture, drawing inspiration from various art forms – especially Japanese culture and Tokyo street styles and fashion.

Lisa’s our Wonder from Down Under; an award-winning whirlwind of hairdressing know-how. Whilst she’s spent time teaching her scissoring skills, she’s happiest when colouring up a storm in a busy salon, where the hairdryers and the chat are both turned up to 11. And where you find Lisa, you won’t find Bruce far behind – her French bulldog is as much a part of the Butchers team as anyone. Whilst Lisa lives life in the fast lane, Bruce takes a much more chill approach to life – you’ll generally find him snoring on the sofa…
